GUILLET Tungsten Carbide Tipped Masonry Chisel For Marble And Sandstone FORT 2E With 20mm Wide Blade 250mm Long And 12.7mm x 55mm Pneumatic Shank 3037
The Guillet Tungsten Carbide Tipped (TCT) Masonry Chisel (Model: 3037) is a premium French-engineered pneumatic tool. It is manufactured by Guillet and optimized for architectural stonemasonry, stone carving, and cleanup work
This "FORT 2E" style tool features a thicker, reinforced steel body layout with an embedded medium-hardness carbide insert. It is tailored specifically for clean carving on marble, sandstone, and limestone.
SKU / Model: 3037
Blade Width: 20mm
Overall Length: 250mm
Carbide Insert Depth: 14mm deep tungsten carbide
Shank Profile: 12.7mm x 55mm (1/2" x 2-1/8") standard round pneumatic shank
The 12.7mm x 55mm shank format is standard in precision stone-carving. This chisel is fully compatible with popular air hammers from industry brands such as:
Trow & Holden Pneumatic Tooling (1/2" shank configurations)
Cuturi Air Hammers
Frölich & Klüpfel (F+K) air tools
Material Restrictions: This tool is strictly optimized for softer, non-siliceous stone structures like marble and sandstone. Do not use the 3037 on granite or hard quartzites. The medium carbide formulation is meant to stay sharp on medium-hardness rock but can shatter or chip against heavy granite surfaces.
Thick Shank Advantage: The 250mm body length and FORT layout offer a heavier shaft. This profile dampens intense vibration feedback to the hand, making it ideal for deep reliefs, material removal, and sculpting large blocks.
