Supplied with a 13 inch (33cm) fibreglass handle installed, this carbide-tipped Hammer Point provides a powerful and versatile solution for demanding stone carving and shaping applications.
The Hammer Point can be swung like a conventional hammer for direct impact, or the long fibreglass handle can be used to hold the tool securely in position while striking it with a separate hammer. This allows the operator to keep their hand away from the striking area while delivering controlled, powerful blows.

Fast Stone Block Roughing
The TROW & HOLDEN Carbide Hammer Point is designed to make roughing out stone blocks faster and more efficient. Its carbide-tipped point concentrates the impact into a small working area, making it suitable for removing unwanted material during the initial stages of stone shaping.
It is particularly useful for removing difficult knots, high spots and excess stone before moving on to finer carving and finishing tools.
Two Ways to Use the Hammer Point
The HHP2CT offers two operating methods.
Use as a hammer:
Swing the Hammer Point directly and strike the stone like a conventional hammer for fast material removal.
Hold and strike:
Use the 13" fibreglass handle to position the carbide point against the stone, then strike the tool with another hammer. This method allows the operator to keep their hand further away from the active striking area while applying a strong impact to the stone.
Carbide-Tipped Stoneworking Tool
The carbide-tipped point is designed for demanding stone roughing and shaping applications. It provides a dedicated cutting point for aggressive material removal, making it particularly useful during the early stages of block carving.
13" Fibreglass Handle Included
The HHP2CT is supplied with a 13 inch (33cm) fibreglass handle, already installed.
The extended handle provides additional reach when positioning the tool and allows the Hammer Point to be used in a held position when striking with a separate hammer.
