Grout Restore 60 is a high-powered, phosphoric acid-based cleaner engineered for intensive restoration of hard surfaces. With 60% active phosphoric acid and added detergents, it cuts through stubborn cement residues, mineral scale, efflorescence, and deep-seated grime with precision and speed.
Its advanced formula combines acid strength with penetrating agents, making it ideal for challenging restoration tasks such as builders cleans, washrooms, pool surrounds, showers, and aged grout lines. Grout Restore 60 delivers rapid results where other cleaners fail—but should be kept clear of acid-sensitive surfaces and all ferrous or non-ferrous metals to avoid corrosion.

Application areas and surface suitability
Grout Restore 60 is phosphoric acid based cleaner for hard surfaces.
Grout Restore 60 is ideally suited for use on masonry surfaces, flooring and walls. Safe for use on all man-made tiles. Use with care on sandstone, quarry tiles, terracotta, grout and slate. Not recommended for use on acid sensitive surfaces including engineered stone, terrazzo, marble, limestone, granite and other natural stone. Avoid contact with all ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Grout Restore 60 can be used almost anywhere that there are dirty tiles or concrete. Especially suited to builders cleans, restoration applications, washrooms, showers and pools.
How to use
Read and understand the SDS before use.
Always pre-test in an inconspicuous location for substrate sensitivity to chemicals.
Grout Restore 60 is a corrosive acid and care should be taken to ensure that gloves and eye protection are worn.
Dilutions
Mineral scale build-up, efflorescence, cement residues & heavy duty applications – 1:4 – 1:8 (200-110ml/Litre)
Grout residues & light duty applications – 1:30 – 1:40 (30-20ml/Litre)
Application
Mineral scale build-up, efflorescence, cement residues and heavy duty applications.
Apply with a clean mop and bucket, rotary scrubber or auto-scrubber. Apply only to a limited area at a time. Do not allow solution to dry. Apply solution with a mop and bucket, auto scrubber or pressure washer.
Scrub thoroughly with applicable nylon scouring/floor pad or brush
Allow 10 to 30 minutes reaction time and re-agitate
Extract/pick-up resultant slurry with extraction equipment
Neutralize remaining residues by rinsing thoroughly with a 1:300 solution (30ml/10Lt) of T&G Cleaner Pro or Proneutro.
